For maximum safety, the KA300RX main receiver works in both AC and battery backup modes. In the AC adapter mode the KA300RX indicates an alarm with the 177 candela LED strobe light, and loud siren. In the event of the loss of AC power, the unit will continue to operate in the battery backup mode. The LED strobe light and siren will operate normally until the battery is extinguished.

This unit also includes a KA300TX Transmitter.
