What the ADA requires in guest rooms
Hotels and lodging facilities are required to provide a minimum number of guest rooms with communication features for guests who are Deaf or hard of hearing.
These accessible guest rooms may include visual notification devices for door knocks or doorbells, telephone calls, emergency alarms, and other required communication features.
