KA300 Emergency Notification System

The Krown® KA300KIT Visual Emergency Notification System is a complete wireless alerting solution designed to help Deaf and hard of hearing individuals stay aware of important emergency notifications throughout the home — including while sleeping.

The KA300KIT can work with a variety of compatible household alarms and alerting devices, including fire and smoke alarms, carbon monoxide alarms, home security systems, weather alert radios, and other emergency notification devices. When an alert is activated, the system provides additional visual, audible, and vibration notifications, making important safety alerts more accessible throughout the home.

The system includes:

• KA300TX Emergency Transmitter – Connects to or monitors a compatible alarm or alerting device and wirelessly sends the emergency signal to Krown receivers.
• KA300RX Sound & Strobe Receiver – Provides a bright flashing LED visual alert along with a loud siren.
• KBS300RX Bed Shaker Receiver – Provides powerful vibration notification to help alert you to an emergency while sleeping.

With both a strobe/siren receiver and a dedicated bed shaker receiver, the KA300KIT provides multiple ways to receive an emergency notification. Place the KA300RX in a living area, bedroom, or other frequently used space, while the KBS300RX can be positioned at the bedside to provide vibration alerts during sleep.

For added peace of mind, both receivers operate using AC power adapters and include 9V battery backup, helping maintain emergency notification during a power outage. During battery backup operation, the KA300RX continues to provide bright LED visual alerts, while the KBS300RX continues to provide vibration alerts.

The wireless system can be expanded with additional compatible Krown receivers and can monitor up to three independent alarm channels, allowing you to create an emergency notification system tailored to your home and individual needs.

Designed for straightforward installation without extensive rewiring, the KA300KIT provides an added layer of emergency awareness for Deaf and hard of hearing individuals at home, helping make critical safety notifications more accessible day and night.
