SKU WA300KIT-ADA
A NOAA weather radio and transmitter together, adding wireless weather alerts to guest room receivers.
The Midland WR120 NOAA Weather and Emergency Alert Radio with Krown WA300TX Weather Alert Transmitter provides reliable 24/7 monitoring of NOAA National Weather Service broadcasts while adding wireless alerting capability for compatible Krown notification receivers.
When an applicable warning is issued, the Midland WR120 automatically activates with a loud audible alert, flashing LED indicator, and alert information on the LCD display. Notifications may include tornadoes, hurricanes, floods, severe thunderstorms, winter storms, and other hazardous weather events, as well as certain civil emergency alerts such as AMBER Alerts, fires, chemical spills, hazardous material incidents, and other public safety warnings.
Featuring S.A.M.E. (Specific Area Message Encoding) technology, the WR120 can be programmed to receive alerts for selected geographic areas, helping users focus on warnings that are relevant to their location.
Krown WA300TX Weather Alert Transmitter
The included WA300TX Weather Alert Transmitter connects to the auxiliary alert output on the Midland WR120. When the weather radio receives an applicable emergency alert, the WA300TX wirelessly transmits the notification to compatible Krown receivers, providing an additional method of alerting individuals who are Deaf or hard of hearing.
The WA300TX is compatible with Krown receivers including the KA300RX, KBS300RX, and KA1000RR, allowing the weather alert to be communicated through compatible visual, audible, or bed-shaker notification devices.
