KA300 Visual Emergency Notification Kit

The Krown® KA300SD Visual Emergency Notification Kit is a patented wireless alerting system designed to help Deaf and hard of hearing individuals stay aware of important emergency notifications throughout the home.

The KA300SD can work with a variety of compatible household alarms and alerting devices, including fire and smoke alarms, carbon monoxide alarms, home security systems, weather alert radios, and other emergency notification devices. When a monitored alarm is activated, the KA300SD provides an additional bright visual and audible alert, helping make important safety notifications more accessible.

The system includes:

• KA300TX Smart Transmitter – Monitors up to three independent audible alarm sources and wirelessly sends an emergency signal when a monitored alarm is activated.
• KA300RX Sound & Strobe Receiver – Provides an ultra-bright 177-candela LED strobe along with a powerful siren to help ensure emergency notifications are both seen and heard.

The wireless design makes it easy to add accessible emergency notification to your home without extensive rewiring. The transmitter can monitor compatible alarms in the home, while the KA300RX can be placed in a bedroom, living area, or other location where additional visual and audible notification is needed.

For added peace of mind, the KA300RX operates using AC power and includes a 9V battery backup, helping maintain emergency notification during a power outage. While operating on battery backup, the receiver continues to provide its visual and audible emergency alerts until the backup battery is depleted.

The system can also be expanded with additional compatible Krown receivers, making it easier to provide emergency notification in multiple areas of the home as your needs change.

Whether monitoring a smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm, home security system, weather alert radio, or another compatible alarm, the KA300SD provides an added layer of emergency awareness for Deaf and hard of hearing individuals — helping make critical household safety alerts more accessible day and night.
