Krown® KA300SD Visual Emergency Notification System

The Krown® KA300SD Visual Emergency Notification System is a wireless emergency notification solution designed to provide accessible life-safety alerts for Deaf and hard of hearing guests in hotels, motels, resorts, dormitories, and other public accommodations.

The KA300SD works with existing fire, smoke, carbon monoxide, and other compatible emergency alarm systems. The KA300TX Wireless Alarm Transmitter detects an alarm event and wirelessly sends the emergency signal to the KA300RX Sound & Strobe Receiver, providing a bright LED visual alert along with a loud audible siren.

This provides hospitality properties with a dedicated emergency notification solution that can be placed in guest rooms where accessible visual emergency notification is needed.

Dedicated Emergency Notification

The KA300™ Emergency Notification System is intentionally designed as a dedicated emergency notification system, separate from routine guest notifications such as telephone calls, door visitors, and alarm clock alerts.

Keeping emergency notification separate helps ensure that an emergency signal is clear, immediately recognizable, and not confused with an everyday notification. This is especially important in hospitality environments, where guests must be able to quickly distinguish a life-safety emergency from a telephone call, door alert, or wake-up alarm.

Products such as the LookOut™ Series can provide notification for everyday guest-room events, while the KA300™ System remains dedicated to emergency notification. This separation creates distinct notification functions and helps maintain a simple, reliable emergency alerting system when every second matters.

Reliable Operation

The KA300RX Sound & Strobe Receiver operates using an AC power adapter and includes 9V battery backup to help maintain emergency notification during a power outage. During battery backup operation, the KA300RX continues to provide LED visual emergency notification.

The KA300™ system can also support multiple compatible alarm devices and monitor up to three independent alarm channels, providing flexibility for different guest-room and property configurations.

With wireless operation and no need to rewire the property's existing alarm system, the KA300SD provides hospitality properties with a practical, dedicated solution for accessible visual and audible emergency notification.

For properties requiring tactile emergency notification during sleep, the KA300KIT adds the KBS300RX Bed Shaker Receiver and bed shaker to provide a powerful vibration alert.
